PARTICULAR

Any quality can be an asset or a detriment.  Generosity untamed can be irresponsibility in budgeting.  Honesty unleashed can be cruel.  And organization can be an asset or drive other crazy.  For the most part, it's OK to be particular as long as you don't hold others to it.  For me...

I love organization.  I do it without thinking about it.  I do it continually.  And I hire myself out to do it for others.  I love organization and organizing.

After making a wallet last week, I knew the next design and color I wanted to make so I laid things out for the next day to encourage me to start.  A few wallets later came For The Birds wallet below.

I've started making some pillowcase dresses to be taken on a mission trip to the Philippians.  No.  I don't get to go but I can still help, with the donation of fabric from a couple of friends.

 

I have also added this to my journals, this one for myself.

ETSY and more Journals

Check out my new Etsy site.  I opened it in '09 but just last night started putting my Steampunk Jewelry on it.  I didn't see anything on there that had my style so I'm hoping my jewelry will go like hot cakes.  Did I just hint toward my age on that saying?  If you don't understand the saying, email me and I'll attempt to explain.  In the meantime, check out my Etsy site!

I made more Journals for Christmas presents.  They are already being used in some of the wonderful ladies devotional times.  I sent one to a gentlemen friend for his birthday, one I made more masculine.  He's one that writes while in the Word so hope it works to collect his insights.

I have an Women's Christmas Dinner this weekend.  We are having an silent auction for missions so I made a journal for it.

The front is pieced cotton batik with the inside covers and back with batik fabric.  These would be $25 each.
